It all begins with an idea. A retired combat veteran, Toi spent a number of tours in the army spanning the globe. Several years ago his wife had an intriguing dream that had Toi remark that someone should make it into a book. With his wife’s suggestion that he should write it, Toi began brainstorming. Even with his love of the arts that he did in his spare time, the kernel of this idea was far too daunting to tackle alone in the way it deserved. Years later, he met Al and the two connected over numerous shared interests. Eventually Toi brought the idea to Al with the offer to craft this story together. The rest, as they say, is history.
